Q | What is The Lurid Gallery?
The Lurid Gallery — "Lurid" — is an online art gallery offering a unique set of digital and physical expressive portrait art pieces, colourfully designed to enhance your digital and spatial collections.
Q | What currency do you use?
The Lurid Gallery's prices are displayed in your local currency and automatically adjusted for your region. The checkout total is always shown and charged in your country’s currency.
Q | How is my email address used when I make a purchase?
Your privacy is very important to us. We use your email address solely to deliver the digital files related to your purchase(s). It will never be shared, sold, or used for marketing unless you give us clear permission.
Q | Is the fingerprint symbol on this site a real fingerprint?
The fingerprint on our support site, associated artworks, branding, and/or signatures is a stylized, artistic representation and is not based on any real person's biometric data. It is solely used as a visual element and symbolic signature. There are no privacy or identification concerns associated with it.
Q | How do I place an order?
Browse through any of our galleries, select your preferred art, and follow the checkout process. For physical prints, choose the material, size, and framing options (if available).
Q | What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major payment methods processed securely through Etsy, including credit/debit cards and other options depending on your location.
Q | How do I retrieve my Certificate of Authenticity?
Please head to the Authenticate tab icon on this support page, enter your Etsy Order Number under "Certificate of Authenticity", and click on "Retrieve Certificate of Authenticity". You will receive your C.O.A. via email.
Q | Can I order a custom piece?
Currently, Lurid does not offer custom artwork. However, we’re happy to hear your suggestions for future designs.
Q | How will I receive my digital art purchase?
Digital files are delivered by Etsy via email immediately upon purchase.
Q | Can I get a refund for a digital purchase?
Refunds for digital products are only available if there’s a technical issue, such as a broken download link or corrupted file. Contact us at via our support mail within 7 days of purchase.
Q | What printing options do you offer?
The Lurid Gallery offers prints on various materials, including canvas, metal, and wood, with optional framing.
Q | Where do you ship?
The Lurid Gallery works with Gelato to ship worldwide to most countries. However, some regions may not be serviced. Please refer to our Shipping Policy for details.
Q | How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the product type.
Q | What if my order arrives damaged?
If your print arrives damaged, contact us via our support mail within 14 days with photos of the damage for a replacement or refund.
Q | What is your refund policy?
For physical products, refunds or replacements are offered for items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect. Digital products are non-refundable unless there is a technical issue. Please see our Refund Policy under the Terms of Service section for details.
Q | How do I request a refund?
Refunds are granted under specific conditions outlined in our Refund Policy. Use the "Refund Request" subject option under "Suggestions & Requests" in the Feedback section to submit your request.
Q | Can I add a personal touch to my order?
At this time, we do not offer personalized prints. However, stay tuned for future updates!
Q | Do you offer bulk or wholesale discounts?
Thank you for your interest in purchasing multiple pieces of our artwork. At this time, we do not offer bulk or wholesale discounts. Each art piece must be ordered individually through our storefronts.

Q | Is The Lurid Gallery's logo protected?
The Lurid Gallery logo is the intellectual property of our studio. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or resale is strictly prohibited. By buying our art, you agree to respect our intellectual property rights. If you have concerns or encounter unauthorized use of our logo or art, please contact us through our support page's Feedback section.
Q | Does The Lurid Gallery protect its art from unauthorized use?
All artworks sold by The Lurid Gallery are original creations by our studio. Purchasing our artwork does not grant permission for resale or reproduction in any form. Beware of resellers and art theft. Any unauthorized use of our art is a violation of our rights. If you encounter suspicious listings, please report them via our support page's Feedback Section.
Q | Can I share my digital piece with my friends?
Digital art purchased from The Lurid Gallery is intended for personal use only. Sharing, reproducing, or distributing the digital file, whether in part or in full, is a violation of our terms and conditions. Each piece is sold with the understanding that it remains exclusive to the buyer for non-commercial purposes. We appreciate your support and understanding in respecting our work.

THE LURID GALLERY (LURID) TERMS AND CONDITIONS
General Conditions of Sale
Version 1.0 – May 2025
TITLE
1. Use of Services
1.1 By accessing or purchasing from The Lurid Gallery ("Lurid"), the customer:
(a) confirms they are at least 18 years of age, or possess guardian consent; and
(b) agrees to all terms and conditions as detailed herein; and
(c) acknowledges that pricing is in USD and may change without notice.
1.2 Lurid reserves the right to refuse service to any person, at any time, for any reason.
2. Intellectual Property
2.1 The customer acknowledges that:
(a) all artwork, logos, and designs remain the intellectual property of Lurid;
(b) digital artwork is provided for personal use only, and may not be reproduced, distributed, or sold;
(c) unauthorized use or resale of artwork is prohibited and may result in legal action.
2.2 Reports of unauthorized usage may be submitted via the Report section.
3. Payments
3.1 Payment processing is handled through secure third-party platforms primarily Etsy.
3.2 Lurid does not store any customer payment details.
4. Shipping and Delivery
4.1 Physical items are produced and fulfilled by Gelato:
(a) delivery time and cost are calculated at checkout based on location;
(b) customers are responsible for entering accurate shipping addresses;
(c) undeliverable or lost items due to incorrect address are not the responsibility of Lurid.
4.2 Digital items are delivered via email upon confirmed payment.
4.3 Physical items require a processing period of 5–7 business days before shipment. Customers will be notified once processing is complete and the order has been dispatched. If processing exceeds this timeframe, customers may be eligible for a full refund issued to the original payment method.
4.4 For further details, refer to the Extended Shipping Policy.
5. Refunds
5.1 Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis:
(a) physical items are eligible for refund or replacement if damaged, defective, or incorrect;
(b) customized items are non-refundable unless defective;
(c) digital items are non-refundable unless there is a technical fault.
5.2 All claims must be made within 14 days of delivery for physical items, and within 7 days of purchase for digital items.
5.3 Refunds will be processed via the original payment method.
5.4 Further details are outlined in the Refund Policy.
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1 Lurid shall not be held liable for damages beyond the purchase price of the product.
6.2 Lurid is not liable for consequential losses, including those arising from product use or delivery delays.
7. Privacy
7.1 Personal data is collected for the sole purpose of order fulfillment and support:
(a) data includes name, email, shipping address, and payment information;
(b) information is securely stored and only accessible to authorized personnel;
(c) information is not sold or shared beyond necessary operations.
7.2 For full details, refer to the Extended Privacy Policy.
8. Use of Fingerprint Symbol
8.1 The fingerprint image used in Lurid’s artwork, branding, or web materials is:
(a) an original, stylized design created for symbolic and aesthetic purposes;
(b) not derived from any real individual’s biometric or personal data; and
(c) intended solely as a visual identifier of Lurid’s work.
8.2 The customer acknowledges and agrees that:
(a) the fingerprint image shall not be interpreted as representing, referencing, or identifying any real person;
(b) Lurid maintains full intellectual and moral rights over the fingerprint design; and
(c) any use, reproduction, or misrepresentation of the fingerprint image outside its intended context may result in legal recourse.
9. Policy Changes
9.1 Lurid may update these terms at any time without notice.
9.2 Continued use of Lurid's services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
PRIVACY POLICY
1. Collection
1.1 Lurid collects personal information for order and support purposes only.
2. Use and Storage
2.1 Information is used to process and confirm orders, and to deliver digital products.
2.2 All information is stored securely and access is limited to authorized staff.
3. Sharing
3.1 Information is not shared externally, except as required to fulfil orders or comply with law.
4. Customer Rights
4.1 Customers may request access to or deletion of their data via the Feedback tab.
REFUND POLICY
1. Physical Products
1.1 Items are eligible for refund or replacement if:
(a) received damaged, defective, or incorrect;
(b) reported within 14 days with supporting evidence (e.g., photos).
1.2 Customized items are non-refundable unless faulty.
1.3 Buyer errors (e.g., incorrect orders) are not eligible.
2. Digital Products
2.1 Refunds are only granted for technical faults (e.g., corrupt file).
2.2 Issues must be reported within 7 days of purchase.
3. Fault Responsibility
3.1 Gelato is liable for production/shipping faults.
3.2 Customer is liable for address/order entry errors.
4. Process
4.1 Refunds issued to original payment method within 5–10 business days once approved.
4.2 Contact via Feedback tab with Order Number and documentation.
5. Agreement
5.1 Purchase confirms acceptance of these terms and policies.
EXTENDED SHIPPING POLICY
1. Processing
1.1 Print orders are processed within 14 business days.
1.2 Digital art is delivered instantly upon successful payment.
2. Delivery
2.1 Gelato provides standard and expedited shipping options.
2.2 Times vary by location and exclude processing/customs delays.
3. International
3.1 Customers are responsible for customs duties or taxes.
3.2 Lurid is not liable for international delays.
4. Address Accuracy
4.1 Accurate shipping details must be entered by the customer.
4.2 Return due to address error incurs re-shipping fees.
5. Lost/Damaged Goods
5.1 Check with carrier if marked delivered but not received.
5.2 Damages must be reported within 14 days with evidence.
5.3 Lurid is not liable for stolen or lost packages but may assist.
6. Tracking
6.1 Tracking information is sent via email upon dispatch.
7. Restrictions
7.1 Import restrictions may apply in some locations.
7.2 Customers are responsible for compliance.
8. Returns
8.1 Refunds/returns only apply to damaged/defective items.
8.2 Return shipping may be covered depending on issue.
